Refund Policy

14-Day Renter Satisfaction & Technical Guarantee

LeaseCheck is built to save renters money—never to trap you in unwanted charges. Every user gets 1 full lease scan completely free before ever being asked to pay. If you purchase the $3.99 One-Time Lifetime Unlimited Pass and experience a technical error, accidental duplicate payment, or unsatisfactory scan within 14 days of purchase, simply email us and we will issue a full $3.99 refund.

1. No Subscriptions or Recurring Charges

LeaseCheck never charges recurring monthly or annual subscription fees. Our only paid product is the $3.99 USD One-Time Lifetime Unlimited Pass, processed via PayPal. You will never be automatically rebilled.

2. When You Are Eligible for a Full Refund

You may request a full 100% refund ($3.99 USD) within 14 days of purchase for any of the following reasons:

  • Technical or PDF Parsing Issues: If our AI scanner fails to read or analyze your apartment lease PDF properly.
  • Pass Key Delivery Issues: If your payment completed on PayPal, but you did not receive your Lifetime Pass Key (LC-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) and prefer a refund over a replacement key.
  • Duplicate or Accidental Purchases: If you accidentally purchased more than one Lifetime Pass Key instead of reusing your existing key.
  • General Dissatisfaction: If you purchased the Lifetime Pass and feel the analysis did not help you review your lease, contact us within 14 days and we will gladly refund your $3.99 payment (provided the Pass Key has not been used for excessive commercial bulk scanning).

3. Lost Your Lifetime Pass Key? (Instant Free Recovery)

You never need to pay twice if you clear your cookies or switch devices.

If you lost your LC-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX Pass Key, use the Support & Lost Key Recovery section on the homepage or email us your PayPal receipt email address, and we will resend or issue a fresh Lifetime Pass Key at no charge.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us with the subject line “LeaseCheck Refund Request” and include:

  1. The email address associated with your PayPal checkout (or your PayPal Transaction / Order ID).
  2. Your Lifetime Pass Key (LC-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX), if available.
  3. A brief note on what went wrong so we can improve the scanner.

5. Refund Processing Timeline

We review and process all refund requests within 1 to 2 business days. Refunds are returned directly to your original PayPal payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer connected to PayPal, funds typically appear in your account within 3 to 5 business days after the refund is issued. Once a refund is processed, the associated Lifetime Pass Key is deactivated.
